Thrilled to announce, the wonderful team that Jon Burkhart and I mentored for the Great British Diversity Experiment have won!!

Our group was made up of a 50/50 gender split, 5 nationalities and spanned three decades. They answered a brief set by BBH and Tesco with a simple and bold idea, with behavior change at its heart, that we hope will stop the nation wasting so much food.

Of course the experiment demonstrated that a breadth of skills, background and experience make for more interesting ideas – but a big group of people from such different backgrounds can be challenging to manage and bring together. Team 7 had a shared ambition and natural leaders within the group, they were absolutely awesome to work with and it was incredible to watch them collaborate and drive the idea forward. In fact Jon an I watched them build an agency before our eyes.

The team will be flown out to SXSW by the organisers and sponsors of the experiment. As Jon and I will both be out in Austin we look forward to celebrating with them.

Heres a little film to outline what the experiment set out to do:
